The IV edition of the NATURCYL 2021 International Ecotourism Fair will take place from September 24 to 26. In addition to the more than ninety exhibitors who will promote their tourist destinations and services or their optical and gastronomy products, NATURCYL will have an extensive program of activities . Throughout the three days there will be presentations, workshops, exhibitions, tastings, interpreted routes and film screenings. And one of the most outstanding is the film «Dehesa, the forest of the Iberian lynx».
The feature film by the director of CANTÁBRICO, Joaquín Gutiérrez Acha, takes us to the great unknown of the Iberian Peninsula, the DEHESA. A unique forest in the world where we will discover very different sensations. Holm oaks, cork oaks and gall oaks give rise to a battlefield where large herbivores compete, where elegant and stealthy Iberian lynxes and formidable eagles hunt, where flowers hide predators with surprising camouflage. But it can also be a friendly place that receives thousands of long-distance travelers every year, who have their winter quarters in these places. They look for a warmer climate and the most precious food, the gold of the DEHESA, acorns. The bargaining chip that these trees use with animals to preserve their existence.
